What is a Cookie?

A cookie, also know as a HTTP cookie, web cookie or browser cookie, is a small text file that a website asks a browser to store for future use. The website can then ask the browser for this file in the future. Cookies are designed to allow websites to reliably store your details and preferences, so you do not have to enter them every time you visit a site; they are also used for operational reasons like remembering the items in your shopping cart or if you are logged in. Cookies are also used by sites to track your progress though a site to enable them to help improve the user experience.

Our Cookies

The main cookies we use are Google analytical cookies; They allow us to recognise and count the number of visitors arriving at our site, how they found us & where they came from. They also allow us to see how our visitors utilise our site while using it. We then use this data to make changes to hopefully improve the way the website works and improve the experience for our visitors e.g. Visitors can find the pages and or items they are searching for.
